22 feet of sunbaked mashed potatoes
We went up this weekend and skiied Sugarbowl from 2:30-4, a special deal for 15$. We got an extra bonus because they kept the lifts running until 4:45pm!The snow was melted and refrozen. The sun was out and it was like Spring skiing.
On Sunday as part of our "Skiing Safari" we skiied Soda Springs. Yes, the "winter resort" with 2 lifts.
All day ticket was 25$. They have 2 large tubing parks and a kiddy area with fun things to do. This is an ideal area to teach kids (or adults) how to ski. It was very casual.
We found a steep face and some not-so-crunchy snow.
